Boston Sponsors Debian Mini-Conf at ARM's HQ in Cambridge

Posted on 12 November, 2013

Boston is proud to support the Debian community by sponsoring the Mini-Debconf being held at ARM®'s HQ (14-17th November). The mini-conf starts with 2 days of focused development activity and meetings, followed by 2 days of more general talks for broader participation. The event will address the new arm64 port and other ARM-related projects, as well as looking into Debian in Neuroimaging, UEFI, and Automated System Testing.

Sponsorship of this event underlines Boston's commitment to supporting communities looking to experiment with new technology and discover fresh solutions to modern IT challenges. The passion of the Debian community matches Boston's own, especially when it comes to working with ARM. Boston's Viridis, the first ARM-based enterprise server, is an exciting project that relies on the enthusiasm of the more forward thinking and experimental groups in IT.

We hope everyone enjoys the mini-conf!
