Boston Technology Innovation Day 2025 – Event Round-Up

Grey skies and a steady drizzle couldn’t dampen the buzz at this year’s Boston Technology Innovation Day (TID) 2025. Hosted at The Grove, where rolling greens and century-old clubhouse provided a striking backdrop, the event brought together customers, partners and industry leaders for a full day of insight, hands-on technology and networking focused on our theme: AI and Sustainability.

We opened with an inspiring and witty keynote from Robin Ince, whose reflections on innovation as both a human and technological journey became a launchpad for everything that followed.

A Panel to Remember

Our headline panel on AI & Sustainable Innovation, moderated by Boston’s Josh Hankin, quickly became one of the highlights of the event. Experts from across our ecosystem shared their candid perspectives:

  • Richard Wright, NVIDIA – on the complexity of scaling AI from proof-of-concept to production and the need for integrated software and training frameworks.
  • Robin Keupers, Supermicro – on treating the rack as the new supercomputer and deploying liquid cooling at scale.
  • James Blackman, AMD – on getting more performance per watt with EPYC CPUs and Instinct GPUs.
  • Ben Cope, Intel – on making inference efficient across cloud, data centre and edge.
  • Miguel Navarro, Castrol – on immersion and direct-to-chip cooling, and even reusing waste heat.
  • Goran Golubovic, Egzakta – on why organisational readiness and governance are as important as technology.

The discussion didn’t shy away from tough questions: how to balance performance with energy use, how to ensure organisations are culturally ready for change and how to build the next generation of AI infrastructure to be both powerful and responsible were just a few of the key topics discussed during this session.

Technology on Show

Between sessions, attendees explored our exhibition area packed with the very latest systems from our partners:

  • NVIDIA – GPU A+ Server AS-5126GS-TNRT / DGX B200 with 8× NVIDIA GPUs
  • AMD – GPU A+ Server AS-4125GS-TNRT
  • Intel – Hyper SuperServer SYS-222HA-TN
  • Peak:AIO – Igloo
  • Castrol – Liquid-Cooled Workstation
  • ProLabs – Demo Case

This mix of high-performance servers, accelerators and innovative cooling solutions gave guests a first-hand look at the technology powering tomorrow’s AI, HPC and data-driven workloads.

Connecting People

Our speed networking sessions kept the energy high throughout the day, giving guests the chance to sit down with the people behind the products, from GPU architects to cooling specialists, for open, practical conversations about their own projects. These quick-fire meetings helped turn ideas from the sessions into actionable next steps and sparked plenty of new connections between customers and partners.

The day ended on a more relaxed note with dinner, where we celebrated the winners of our activities and handed out prizes. It was a fitting way to round off two days focused on learning, collaboration and innovation.

Thank You

Events like TID only happen with the support of our partners. A heartfelt thank you to Castrol, NVIDIA, ProLabs, AMD, Supermicro, Peak:AIO, Intel and Egzakta for helping us create two days full of insight, technology and meaningful connections.

We’re already planning the next Boston Technology Innovation Day and would love to see you there. If you’d like to register your interest for next year’s event, or to speak with our team about any of the technology demonstrated at TID 2025, please get in touch with us today.
