The Connecting 42U is designed to mount standard IT equipment with 19-inch mounting centres, such as switches and servers. It consists of two 21U cabinets that securely stack together, with built-in cable entry between the units. This design makes it possible to achieve a full 42U capacity in locations that were previously inaccessible due to space restrictions, tight staircases or narrow doorways.
Each 21U section can also function independently and is individually lockable for added security. The cabinets are available in two models: front-only door or front-and-rear door configurations.
For cooling, the system supports up to five fan trays depending on requirements and is optimised for front-to-rear airflow as standard. A cable management security system is integrated to ensure safe and organised cable entry and exit.
